Sinful Bliss

But two people can blissfully kiss,

raising heartbeats on plain white sheets.

share the last drop of water generously,

forget sorrows leaving the world as it is.

He is eccentric but naturally lazy and calm

The mirror sees tranquil eyes of a coward; not a fighter

Greedy for blissful kisses and sinful lingers.

She loves to bathe in a daydream of rainbow kisses

Chaotic yet quaint, got no room for vices.

They put stars to a dull shame on every beautiful “goodnight”

Beautiful memories wrote themselves on unalloyed stones,

like two scoops of gelato in sugarcoated belgian cones.

Silence can be deafening tender sighs, can give fuel to an ignited flame

and you get a wildfire of mixed emotions.

The stars concealed by angry clouds in the sky

where the moon weep on every impulsive “goodbyes”.

But two people can blissfully kiss,

sinfully linger on the same tragedy,

cry tears over unexplained fears,

Forget happiness leaving the world as it is.

Bruises are clogged blood that refused to circulate,

once decided; now confused about their fate.

Heavy hearts concealed the pain

when deficit supply couldn’t equate to the bargain.

How bittersweet the nectar of unmade decisions.

He is still eccentric, less lazy, still calm

he showed the mirror how a coward became a fighter

now generous for blissful kisses and sinful lingers.

She still loves to get lost in a daydream

chaotic yet quaint,

Feisty for her only vice—him.
